Accessible Training Portal
The WIPO Academy's Accessible training portal (ATP) serves as a platform for hosting WIPO's Accessible Books Consortium (ABC) and the Academy's accessible Intellectual Property (IP) courses. The ATP offers courses that are designed to be accessible to individuals who are blind, have low vision, or are otherwise print-disabled. The courses cover a range of topics on intellectual property (IP) knowledge and include a course on Accessible Publishing Concepts provided by the ABC. The course content is developed in compliance with accessibility standards, and the ATP provides a user-friendly web application that allows print-disabled individuals to register for the courses. A dedicated course administrator is also available to offer support throughout the course.

Accessible format copies of books can benefit persons who are blind, have low vision, are dyslexic or have mobility impairments that impact their ability to read the printed word. According to a 2017 study published in The Lancet, approximately 253 million people are blind or visually impaired world-wide.
All ABC online courses are accessible to people who are print disabled. The course platform is inclusively designed, with navigable lesson content, accessible quizzes, described images and captioned videos. The following course is currently open to all free of charge.
