Conditions d’admission:

Les candidats postulant au programme doivent répondre aux critères suivants:
 
Formation : être titulaire d’au moins une maîtrise ou un diplôme d’ingénieur, de préférence dans un domaine pertinent tel que le commerce, le droit, l’ingénierie, les sciences ou la technologie.
 
Expérience professionnelle : dans l’idéal, posséder de préférence un minimum de 2 à 3 ans d’expérience professionnelle, démontrant un historique de responsabilité et de réussite dans vos domaines respectifs.
 
Eléments professionnels pertinents : Démontrer une pratique professionnelle dans un domaine étroitement lié à l’innovation, à la recherche, à la création ou à la protection d’actifs incorporels. Cela pourrait inclure des rôles dans la recherche et le développement, la gestion de la propriété intellectuelle, le transfert de technologie, le conseil en innovation ou des domaines connexes.
 
Compétences linguistiques : Parler couramment le français et avoir un niveau minimum intermédiaire de maîtrise de l’anglais afin de pouvoir bénéficier des lectures recommandées et ouvrages en propriété intellectuelle, ainsi que des discussions dans un contexte international.

Les étudiants ayant complété avec succès le programme se verront attribuer un diplôme du Master Exécutif en Propriété Intellectuelle et Innovation par l’Université Polytechnique Mohammed VI de Ben Guerir au nom des partenaires. Le diplôme contiendra aussi les logos des partenaires.

Les cours seront dispensés par d’éminents universitaires et experts de l’UM6P, de l’OMPIC et de l’OMPI avec la participation d’experts de premier rang et de professeurs invités d’autres universités et de l’industrie.

The Executive Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MIPEI) is offered jointly by the WIPO Academy, the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP) and the Umm Al Qura University (UQU) in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Admission requirements:

To be considered, applicants should have:

• hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum grade of 'Good' from a Saudi university or from a recognized institution.
• The applicant must have at least one year of professional experience, preferably in fields related to intellectual property, innovation, or entrepreneurship.
• The applicant is required to attach their curriculum vitae (CV) as part of the application.
• Language proficiency test, as outlined below:
• A score of 4.5 in the IELTS test, or an equivalent score in TOEFL or STEP.
• Exemption from the English language requirement is granted to applicants who have obtained their academic degrees from universities in countries where English is the official language, or to those who have completed a Bachelor's degree in a program where the medium of instruction was English (with supporting documentation).
• The validity period for English language test scores is two years for IELTS and TOEFL, and three years for STEP.

Scholarships

WIPO scholarships are awarded to:

Successful applicants for WIPO scholarships are notified by the WIPO Academy. Thereafter they will be provided with relevant information, including travel arrangements.

Application deadline for the WIPO scholarship to the MIPD is July 31, 2025. The application on this website is for WIPO Scholarships only.

Requisitos de admisión
Los postulantes al programa deberán cumplir los siguientes requisitos:

• Poseer, como mínimo, un título de grado de una universidad reconocida.

• Dominar el idioma español y tener buenos conocimientos de inglés.  Si bien prácticamente todas las clases se impartirán en español, puede haber bibliografía y estudios de casos en inglés. También es posible que las clases impartidas por los profesores invitados sean en inglés.

• Los candidatos interesados deberán completar los formularios de solicitud en línea. Se aceptarán solicitudes hasta el 12 de enero de 2026, pero se recomiendo a los candidatos a presentar su solicitud lo mas pronto posible.

Solicitud
Los candidatos deberán solicitar la admisión al programa directamente a la UdeSA (la información del usuario se enviará por correo electrónico). Además, deberán haber completado la inscripción en línea ante la OMPI, en esta misma página. Se notificará a los candidatos si han sido aceptados en el programa. Una vez finalizado el proceso de admisión, la OMPI examinará las solicitudes de los candidatos que en sus cartas de motivación hayan expresado interés en obtener una beca de la OMPI. Únicamente los candidatos que hayan obtenido la beca serán notificados de la decisión de la OMPI al respecto.

Becas
Habrá un número limitado de becas para estudiantes de países de América Latina, que se otorgarán mediante concurso entre los candidatos que reúnan los méritos necesarios. Las becas cubrirán la totalidad de la matrícula y los gastos de alojamiento.

Podrán beneficiarse de becas de la OMPI funcionarios gubernamentales y personas que trabajan en el sector público, como universidades, centros académicos e institutos de investigación y desarrollo.
Quienes soliciten una beca de la OMPI deberán expresar su interés en la carta de motivación que incluirán en su solicitud.

La beca cubre lo siguiente:

Los gastos de visado, de haberlos, correrán por cuenta de los estudiantes.

Título otorgado

The WIPO–SUSS Master of Intellectual Property and Innovation Management (MIPIM), specializing in IP Business, is a postgraduate program designed to equip graduates and professionals with strategic skills in managing and commercializing intellectual property. Combining core IP knowledge with business-focused training in licensing, asset management, and innovation strategy, the program reflects the global and regional dimensions of today’s IP landscape. There are three categories of applicants for the Joint Masters/LL.M. Program:

(ii) Foreign Nationals; and

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in law or any other discipline;

Applicants from the countries where English is (one of) the official languages, are exempt from the language requirement

The WIPO-Tongji MIP in Industrial Property is a postgraduate program of high quality and is available to law and non-law graduates. This program offers a unique and challenging opportunity for students not only to acquire solid knowledge in the core areas of IP, but also to focus on industrial property protection in its many facets and stages. As this is a program offered in cooperation with WIPO and high-ranking European universities and institutes, the international level will be covered extensively and comparative law aspects will be included, with European Union law serving as the primary paradigm of regional protection systems.
