Judge Annabelle Clare Bennett AO SC (Australia) is currently Chancellor of Bond University, Queensland ; Arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration for Sport; Director of Garvan Institute of Medical Research; Member of the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Law of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Questacon Advisory Council; Member and former President of Chief Executive Women, and the Australian Academy of Forensic Sciences. She served as a Judge of the Federal Court of Australia, an Additional Judge of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and a Presidential Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. She occupied several positions related to intellectual property including National Coordinating Judge of the Intellectual Property Practice Area, President of the Copyright Tribunal of Australia, Advisory Committee Member of the Australian Law Reform Commission on the Gene Patenting & Human Health Reference, Panelist at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and Senior Counsel specializing in intellectual property. Judge Bennett completed a Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Law at the University of New South Wales.

Judge Diez Canseco Núñez (Peru) serves as a Professor of Law Faculty, lecturing in Master’s Degree of Laws in Intellectual Property and Competition, and Master’s Degree in Business Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, where he is a Former Member of the Advisory Board. He concurrently lectures at the Pacific University for the Diploma in International Business Law and Investments, where he is in charge of courses for the Promotion of Exports and Competitiveness, and Policies of Competition. He is a Founding Partner of Díez Canseco Competencia & PI, a law firm composed of highly qualified and experienced professionals, specialized in antitrust law, repression of unfair competition, consumer protection, right of publicity, telecommunications, regulation of markets, anti-dumping duty, subsidies and safeguards, access to the market and bureaucratic barriers, intellectual property, and management of interests. He has authored numerous publications on intellectual property; competition; consumer protection; and teaching materials. He completed a Doctor of Laws at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

Judge Samuel Granata (Belguim) is a Judge at the Court of Appeal in Antwerp, Belgium; External Member of the Enlarged Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office; Member of the Legal Framework Group Unified Patent Court (Subgroup 1 - Rules of Procedures of the Court and Subgroup 6 - Rules on Mediation and Arbitration), Member of Benelux Office for Intellectual Property and Member of the Belgian Board for Intellectual Property Rights in the Industrial Property section, which gives independent advice to the Minister of Economic Affairs regarding Patents and Trademarks issues. He completed a Master of Arts in Law (Cum Laude) at the Catholic University of Leuven, a Master in Intellectual Property Rights at Franklin Pierce Law Center and a Master of Arts in Interactive Multimedia at the College of Printing & Distributive Trades, London Institute. Judge Granata is fluent in Dutch, English, French and German. He has authored several publications on intellectual property issues and recently published a book outlining the draft rules and procedures of the Unified Patent Court.

Judge Louis Harms (South Africa) is former Deputy President of the Supreme Court of South Africa. He is presently serving as Professor Extraordinary for Intellectual Property Law at the University of Pretoria and the University of the Free State. He is on the Panel of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa. Judge Harms also became an Honorary Bencher of the Middle Temple in 2012. His specialty is Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law, Contract Law, Building and Engineering Law, Expropriation/Valuation. His over 200 reported judgments cover all fields of law but predominantly commercial law. He holds a LL.D. at University of the Free State and several academic awards. He is an Editorial Board Member of the University of Western Australia Law Journal and the Intellectual Property Journal of Osgood Hall Law School in Toronto. He is the author of textbooks and articles on civil procedure, pleadings and the enforcement of intellectual property law, including The Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights: A Case Book, which has been translated into Arabic, Chinese and Russian. He’s a key resource person for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on matters related to intellectual property and he has actively organized seminars for judges and law enforcement agencies in developing countries on intellectual property rights enforcement.

Judge Modesto-San Pedro (Philippines) is the Presiding Judge at the Regional Trial Court, Special Commercial Court and Family Court of the City of Pasig in the Philippines. She also serves at the Philippine Judicial Academy of the Supreme Court in Manila as a Member of Commercial Law Department and a Professorial Lecturer. She has been participating in the Committee on Drafting Guidelines for Continuous Trial of Supreme Court; Technical Working Group of National Revision of the Rules of Civil Procedure of the Supreme Court; Lectures for Orientation of New Judges, Enhancement Training for Clerks of Court and Pre-Judicature Program organized by Philippine Judicial Academy; Legal Education Program organized by the University of the Philippines Law Center Institute for the Administration of Justice; Seminar and Workshop on Various Laws and Rules Relating to Money Laundering and Other Financial Crimes for Judges organized by the Philippine Judicial Academy. She gave lectures in the Advanced Colloquium for the Judiciary on Civil Adjudication of Intellectual Property Rights and International Trade Cases organized by the USPTO Global Intellectual Property Academy; Colloquium for Judges and Second Advanced Course for Intellectual Property Law for Commercial Court Judges organized by the Philippine Intellectual Property Office.

Judge Wang (China) is currently the Presiding Judge of Intellectual Property Trial Division of the Supreme People’s Court of China. She concurrently serves as Researcher of Intellectual Property Judicial Protection Research Center of Supreme People's Court, Member of Lecturer Group of Supreme People’s Court, Member of the Council of Intellectual Property Protection Center of China Law Society and Part-time Professor of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. Her professional experience involves giving a number of keynote speeches at international academic conferences on intellectual property, drafting or participating in the drafting of intellectual property judicial interpretations, participating in the amendments of the Chinese Copyright Law, Trademark Law and Unfair Competition Law, undertaking or participating as Chief Judge in numerous intellectual property cases and lecturing in several intellectual property courses. She has authored a considerable number of academic works on intellectual property including theses and trial guidance books published by Supreme People’s Court. She is a J.D. candidate in intellectual property law at the Renmin University of China.
